On Rue Jean-Violette and its surrounding streets, many people park their bikes on the sidewalk due to lack of cycle parking. Getting rid of just a few (car) parking spaces would allow the whole neighborhood to park their bikes, allowing sidewalks to stay free and clear for pedestrians, strollers and wheelchairs.
